I can’t tell you specifically about my first migraine but I can tell you when they started. My migraines started in high-school and they were quite frequent. I didn’t have insurance so I never went to the doctors. I would get them so bad that I would miss school and they were especially vicious around my cycle (along with that extreme pain I now know I have Endometriosis) all I could do was take over counter meds, sit at the bottom of the shower and let hot water hit my neck. If that didn’t work I moved on to the ice pack on neck and try to sleep it off. The problem was trying to fall asleep between pain, nausea, and the room spinning it was very difficult.
I always knew they were migraines because my mom, grandmother, and aunt get them. Lets just say I was predisposed.
